External USB HDD is not Detected / Mounted

OS: Linux Mint Debian Edition
HDD Hardware: Western Digital P10 (4TB, USB)
I have been using this drive for more than 3+ years (on macOS) but it is no longer being detected by it. I changed the USB cable but it didn't help. To test and recover data from it, I am trying to troubleshoot the issue with Linux on the same computer. When I boot LMDE and connect the external drive, this is what dmesg says:

Can someone help me figure out what the issue is, and how I can (if) possible recover some data from it? (There are 2 partitions on the drive and both are on HFS+ partition. LMDE has hfsplus, hfsutils and hfsprogs installed.)
