Shutdown process pauses, what could be wrong?

A few days ago I installed Debian 12.5 on my laptop pc as a single-boot operating system. I haven't installed any applications or utilities so far, just what comes packaged with Debian.

At first the computer re-started and shut down normally, then a day or two later it began to pause for two minutes in the middle of every shutdown. BTW, I am clicking on the shutdown or restart icon, not using a script.

This is the line where it pauses:
Job user(at)1000.service/stop running (35s/2min) : User job tracker-miner-fs-3.service/stop running (35s/2min)
(note: had to replace at symbol in the line above in order to post this.)

The above line appears on screen after a 30 second pause then counts down the time to 2 minutes, then the shutdown finishes normally.

What is tracker-miner-fs-3 that it needs to delay the shutdown? Did I do something wrong? Is there a simple fix?

EDIT:

Searching on "tracker-miner-fs-3" I started to realize that a file indexing utility was likely the root cause for the shut-down hanging, and also for the high speed fan usage which I had noticed but did not associate with the shut-down issue. I ended up disabling the indexing service using a masking method. Now my computer starts fast as normal and I no longer hear the fan. Here are links to 2 posts that helped me understand what was going on and the safest method to deal with it:

1.) tracker-extract-3 going nuts and I don't know how to turn it off
