A live-action film based on the franchise is currently in development, for one, and Nintendo recently announced that the next mainline game in the series, Echoes of Wisdom, will launch on the Nintendo Switch later this year.
To mark the occasion, Nintendo plans to launch a Hyrule Edition" Switch Lite, which is now up for preorder at Best Buy, GameStop, and Target for $209.99 ahead of its September 26th release date. You'll still have to purchase Echoes of Wisdom separately, but the special-edition console does include a 12-month individual subscription to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack (a $49.99 value) as a bonus.
