Anyone use the Natron compositor, on Slackware 64 current multilib and uses latest propr. Nvidia drivers?

Cause I'd like to know if I'm alone with the segfaults on my 1060 but only for natron, and using coredumps, it showing "libnvidia-tls.so" at the top with gdb + coredump.
It has the same weird 'workaround' for Steam and some other 32 bit apps with that omit framepointer thing, which AlienBob has since put into his own direct package.
The workaround being running natron from gdb.
If I don't run it from gdb, it segfaults, see above.
if I do run it with gdb, it runs as fine as natron runs (aka, ramshackle)
It's not a 32 bit application... this is so weird, even updated the kernel to see if that changed anything, it didn't.
Updated mesa just now, too...no change.
This kind of heisenbug like malarky sure is a pain...
P.S.:
glxinfo, glxgears ...both work fine.
