ubuntu 22.04 has_option command not found. Cannot login
by dr_berta from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6PJHN)
Hi,
after updating the system from Ubuntu 20.04 to Ubuntu 22.04 and after fixing an issue about the raid disks usage, now I'm facing with a new issue: I'm not able to login the system
It goes always in recovery mode as shown in the attached picture.
The .xsession-errors file shows three error messages alway related to the "has_option()" command that cannot be found.
I googled a lot and I found that this command now is present in the /etc/X11/Xsession file, but previously was present in /etc/X11/Xsession.d/20-x11-common-process-args. This change seems to be the reason of the bug because not alw3ays the Xsession file is loaded.
Since it seems that the bug is not still solved, is there a workaround to solve the problem allowing me to login in my system?
I tried the workaround to add the function in a file inside the Xsession.d folder, but it does not work.
Thanks
Claudio
