LM22 Update Tool

For us neophytes, will an "update tool" be made available via Update Manager, for those of us wanting to migrate from LM21.3 to LM22?

Note: I tried updating to LM22, via the posted command line recommendation, with less than stellar results; so it was back to LM21.3, which works (thank you, Rescuezilla).
