How to format a large SD card with W95 FAT32 format
by no-windose from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6PNT1)
I have a device using a micro SD card. The manual for this device claims that SD cards up to 32GB only are usable. However I have used a 256GB micro SD card without any trouble and I can use the whole 256GB.
Recently I have upgraded to a 1.5TB micro SD card but I can't format it on my device. The 1.5TB card appears to be formatted to NTFS/exFAT/HPFS on gnome-disks while the 256GB card appears as W95 FAT32 (LBA) (Bootable).
I am unable to format the 1.5TB card as W95 FAT32. Would it help if I could and how could I do it?
