Access to my webcam from Tellico (collection management)
by anestis89 from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6PQQ0)
Hello everyone guys,
I'm using Opensuse 15.5 and have an external webcam (Creative) connected via usb. I installed Tellico today and after adding some entries I closed the program. Later I noticed that my webcam was turned on and I tried to investigate which program caused that. In the processes I found that Tellico was still running and after terminating the process, the webcam turned off.
I uninstalled the software and I switched to my beloved slackware os :)
Does anyone use this software? If yes, do you know if it has access to the user's webcam as part of functionality? How much should I worry about that? I'm asking here because I didn't find anything on the internet.
