Hello, i have recently acquired a HP Power 15.6 G8 Mobile workstation, I have installed Fedora Linux and the wireless networking worked, after i finished my Alpine Linux install (over ethernet) i attempted to setup the wireless internet connections using the guide on the Alpine wiki (link: https://wiki.alpinelinux.org/wiki/Wi-Fi) and after executing wpa_supplicant -i wlan0 -c /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf
this is the error message i get.
nl80211: Could not set interface 'p2p-dev-wlan0' UP
nl80211: deinit ifname=p2p-dev-wlan0 disabled_11b_rates=0
p2p-dev-wlan0: Failed to initialize driver interface
p2p-dev-wlan0: CTRL-EVENT-DSCP-POLICY clear_all
P2P: Failed to enable P2P Device interface
wlan0: CTRL-EVENT-SCAN-FAILED ret=-16 retry=1
wlan0: CTRL-EVENT-SCAN-FAILED ret=-16 retry=1
