My webcam was not working

Hello!
I'm using LMDE Faye, which I recently installed. Previously, on the Cinnamon edition, my webcam wasn't working, and it's still not working after switching to LMDE.
Even i tried using Cheese and encountered the error: (cheese:22590): GLib-CRITICAL **: 08:04:37.377: g_variant_ref_sink: assertion 'value != NULL' failed.
Here are my desktop configuration details from Neofetch:
