Hi All, I'm new to this forum and to Linux and I'm getting myself in a heck of a mess.

What should be a five minute job has turned into a war of attrition.

You see, I'm trying to install Mint or Zorin on my laptop but keep getting a failure message reading: Unable to install Grub in /dev nvme0n1" Executing 'Grub-install /dev/nvme0n1 failed. This is a fatal error." and I don't know how to get past it.

Any help would be appreciate greatly but please try to keep it simple if possible, as my name suggests I'm a complete Ignoramus when it come to all things computing.

If it any use to you my system info is:
