Current: Orange Tint in KDE with latest mesa 24.2.2

Running Slackware64 Current in VirtualBox 6.1.50 on Slackware64 15.0. The latest mesa 24.2.2 causes everything in KDE to display with an orange tint. Restoring the VM to a previous snapshot and updating all packages except mesa 24.2.2 results in a normal display.

I've fiddled with various options to no avail. Tinkering with the VirtualBox VM graphics controller does not help nor does black listing or enabling vmwgfx.

Xfce does not seem affected.

Launching KDE with startx and startplasma-x11.

With mesa 24.2.2 I see the following with inxi:

Code:Graphics:
Device-1: InnoTek Systemberatung GmbH VirtualBox Graphics Adapter
driver: vboxvideo v: kernel
Display: server: X.Org v: 21.1.13 with: Xwayland v: 24.1.2 driver: X:
loaded: modesetting unloaded: vesa dri: swrast gpu: vboxvideo resolution: 1920x894~60Hz
API: EGL v: 1.5 drivers: swrast platforms: x11,surfaceless,device
API: OpenGL v: 4.5 vendor: mesa v: 24.2.2 renderer: llvmpipe (LLVM 18.1.8
256 bits)
API: Vulkan v: 1.3.290 drivers: N/A surfaces: xcb, xlibHost 15.0 system has Intel HD Graphics 530 using i915 driver.

Anybody else seeing this?

Perhaps would help to know what settings others are using with both VirtualBox and KDE. Never seen anything like this and the VM has functioned as expected.

Thanks.
