cloudflare redirect for post edits or copy/paste?

Over the past few days every attempt at
a) editing an existing post
b) copy/paste, in an edit or new post
results in the 'prove you are a real person' redirect.
Possibly related, if I sign out and click 'return to the page you were viewing', the logout did not actually happen, eg, I have to log out twice.
This has not happened on any other interractive site, eg, forum.dd-wrt.com, nor are there active ddos signs, eg, slow page loads, etc.
One poster thought some sort of cloudflare/LQ test might be running but test is not being properly monitored as fundamentals like failing edit and paste would have been caught in the first second after the test was turned on.
