Laptop turns on but freezes before I get access to Home Screen
by Rose4you from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6QR8S)
Hi there,
I updated my laptop yesterday and it has done something that I donit understand and therefore donit know how to fix it.
When I turn the laptop on I can see that it is starting up the necessary programs but before it ever reaches the Home Screen it goes to this screen and freezes.
The screen is sort of blue/black and parted in the middle. In the left part I have at the very top on the left
iSessioni plasma (Wayland)(Wayland) Layout US
Time
Day, date
On the right side there is a small box with Magenta written underneath a drawing of a person. Underneath that it says in white
Select your user and enter password
Underneath this in red
The current theme cannot be loaded due to the errors below, please select another theme.
File:///usr/share/sddm/themes/breeze/Main.qml:14:1: module
iOrg.kde.plasma.extrasi is not installed
File:///usr/share/sddm/themes/breeze/Main.qml:13:1: module
Iid appreciate someoneis help for this issues.
Thank you.
