Slackware Multilib now requires restart after updating?
by thethinker from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6QS7D)
I've run multilib Slackware before (at least on 14.2), and I don't recall needing to restart the system after an upgrade, but now when I do
Code:slackpkg update
slackpkg upgrade-allI get
Code:==============================================================================
INFO! Debug informations
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NOTE: Some installed or upgraded package may need reboot:
aaa_glibc-solibs-2.33-x86_64-7_slack15.0
glibc-2.33-x86_64-7_slack15.0
See /var/run/needs_restarting for review this list
==============================================================================Is this expected behavior? I did have some trouble getting this system into multilib (https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...cc-4175740193/), so I just want to confirm things are working as expected. Thanks!
Code:# slackpkg help
slackpkg - version 15.0.10 / slackpkg+ 1.8.0
