[Plasma 5+Wayland] No right-click/context menu on taskbar

I'm on -current and decided to try Wayland. If I try to right click anywhere in the taskbar, including tray and menu button, nothing happens, no context menu. Left click works as expected and leaving the cursor over items in the taskbar shows the info popup. Context menu do work correctly in the desktop with a right click. This does not happen when running X. Is there any solution for this or should I move to Plasma 6, as indicated in some forums around this problem? Thanks.
