Clean virus with Linux

I've got an Ideal pad that got ads. pop up, I tried to boot the Karspery rescue USB to scan and fix but it won't completely load. I tried booting Debian but the notebook can't even see the USB drive. The BIOS on it is quite limited, there's no legacy boot only UFEI, what can I do ? is there any way I can boot Linux to scan and fix it, afaik AVAST got a Linux scanner, but I first need to boot it up, any comment thanks !
