realtek speakers

I've recently made my window 11 computer into a dual-boot with Almalinux 9.4. and I'm new to Linux. I love it! the problem I have is: no sound. Almalinux will not even see my speakers as existing. I've read some forums and blogs on this problem and I've even worn out ChatGPT! I've visited the realtek.com website and looked for a driver for Linux, but the only one they have is dated for 2018 and even says works only on 3.18 and below and I can't get it to work.

Is there a driver for realtek speakers out there somewhere? Is there a linux distro that is compatible with realtek computers?
