Wine? or SteamOS?: Arch Laptop: persistent USB with SSD hard drive for Windows/Steam/EAgames
by LeonCS from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6QXM5)
Hi dear folks
Need some mentoring on windows emulation so I can still play my old MS Flight Simulator and EA games and steam games.
I am at the point where I have a bare metal arch system on my new laptop. I do not want to dual boot my nvme drive. I want that for pure linux only. I was thinking of plugging in a persistent USB and a 1 Terabyte SSD, then booting into a windows emulation that is safe and stable.
Should I go with Wine, SteamOS, or VirtualBox?
Any thoughts and directions much appreciated.
Regards
