[SOLVED] how to stop ktimetracker at DE startup
by magicm from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6QXVG)
Note that my preferred DE is xfce. This is on Slackware 15.0.
For some reason, I decided to try ktimetracker. I thought "that's interesting, but not useful to me". But now, it starts every time I start xfce.
Can someone tell me how to stop this unwanted behavior?
Note: there's no entry in ~/.config/autostart,
and removing contents of ~/.local/share/ktimetracker/ (also tried removing the directory) had no effect.
I'm beginning to think that I should just chmod -x /usr/bin/ktimetracker, but that seems like overkill
TIA
