How to install Midori-Astian?, Rosa Linux.
by Camello from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6QZJP)
Hello,
In the options, I can't find a subforum for Rosa-Linux, I installed Rosa Fresh 12.5.1. I understand that it is a fork of Mandriva but maybe someone here can give me some indication.
The thing is that I don't know how to install the new Midori Astian:
https://astian.org/midori-browser/download/
Midori tar.bz 64 bit, I extract it, I create a launcher and it only opens once, then it doesn't come out anymore; and the other option of the rpm opensuse, dnfdragora doesn't install it.
Thanks for any advice, trick.
Regards
EDIT:
I repeated the process with the rpm package and what happened surprised me, there is a delay of maybe two minutes or more for dnfdragora to open and ask to install ...
Now it doesn't update (the Midori-rpm I extracted is 11.3.3 and the one it opens is 11.3.2), plus that 'delay' to open dnfdragora ... I can't consider it solved.
