Wired Ethernet issues
by Rando from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6R3MC)
Hello,
I have an issue with LAN Cable Ethernet. I have restarted router.
(TOTAL NOOB HERE!)
I have not used either machine in a while. 1. Raspberry Pi 4, runs Plex backend, with attached HDD. Am able to access Plex on a tablet, or another TV and can stream using Plex. So, RPI is using the wired network to send its stream. However, downloads with transmission/qbittorrent stall after 5-15%.
Am running TorGuard VPN. Changing VPN servers does not correct the issue. Turning off VPN does not correct the issue.
Machine #2 desktop - Dual Boot win10 and Mint. Connected via LAN cable. In mint, web pages do not load well, or at all. No internet functioning.
In Win10 boot, all seems working as normal. Other wired machines in the house all working properly (fire stick, xboxes, smart tvs)i. Seems just the RPI and the dual boot running Linux fail.
Now, I could call my ISP (rogers) and ask if theyire throttling the shit outta me.. but are they?
I have no clue, and appreciate any help you can give me. Thank you
I hope this is a simple settings fix for both Linux based machinesi.
I have no idea how to help myself help you help me, but Iill try my best. Thanks in advance.
