Man convicted in 1981 murder of Hamilton woman gets chance for early parole

In 2016, Robert Badgerow was convicted in the first-degree murder of a Hamilton nursing assistant 35 years earlier and given mandatory life in prison with no chance of parole for 25 years. The 66-year-old is now seeking an early release after he was granted a review under the Criminal Code's Faint Hope Clause.
