Saturday: Annual Seattle Bike Swap and E-Bike Expo at Seattle Center
Late in the day at the 2024 Seattle Bike Swap.Want a good deal on a used bike or want to find some unusual parts? Then get to the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall Saturday (February 8) for Cascade Bicycle Club's annual Seattle Bike Swap. There will be a bunch of bikes for sale on consignment and a wide variety of vendors selling all kinds of stuff at all price points.
As in recent years, the Bike Swap will also house the club's E-Bike Expo. A handful of e-bike companies will have their bikes available for test rides, and last year they were selling floor models and close-out bikes at steep discounts. It's a great opportunity to try a lot of different e-bike options back-to-back and maybe score a deal.
Got a friend who wants a bike but has a very tight budget? Bring them to the bike swap. This is one of the best opportunities of the year to find a quality used bike at a low cost because there will be so many available to test ride. The biggest challenge to buying a used bike is finding one in a style you like that also fits well. Plus, consignment sales at the Bike Swap help support Cascade's education programs.
Doors open to the general public at 9 a.m. and close at 2 p.m. It's $10 at the door to get in, and kids 15 and under are free.
