Fourteen Democratic-led states had sought temporary restraining order against body involved in worker layoffs
A federal judge refused on Tuesday to immediately block Elon Musk and the so-called department of government efficiency" (Doge) from accessing government data systems or participating in worker layoffs.
The US district judge Tanya Chutkan found that there were legitimate questions about the billionaire's authority but said there was not enough evidence of grave legal harm to justify a temporary restraining order.
