The US director of national intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, has said that the invitation extended to journalist Jeffrey Goldberg to join a Signal chat group with senior US security officials discussing an attack on Yemen's Houthis was 'inadvertent' and 'a mistake', but insisted again that nothing classified was shared.
