CBC Hamilton has spoken to four families since 2023 who say lawyer Victoria Bruyn didn't follow through on promises to help them navigate Canada's complicated, high-stakes immigration process, leaving them in limbo or facing deportation. Bruyn is currently listed as an adjudicator at Ontario's Landlord and Tenant Board.
