Bike Everywhere Day (formerly Bike to Work Day) is May 14, which puts it on a Wednesday this year rather than Friday as it had been for a long time. This is a response to trends toward more people working from home on Fridays or working four 10-hour days and taking Fridays off (or working 9-hour days and taking every other Friday off). Wednesdays now have the highest rates of people being at work.

You can also catch me at Town Hall Seattle (the smaller space, not the big stage) the evening of Bike Everywhere Day for a chat with Paul Tolme and Tyler Vasquez from Cascade Bicycle Club. Event starts at 7:30 p.m. We'll be talking about how Seattle's bike movement got to this point and where we go from here. Should be a fun conversation with a Q&A.
