Apple’s AirPods update adds camera controls and more

Apple just revealed a bundle of new AirPods features at WWDC 2025. That includes a way to control your iPhone or iPad's camera by tapping the stem of your AirPods.

There's also a new head gesture you can use to extend the volume adjustment made with Conversation Awareness, which lowers your AirPods' audio while you talk, as well as a studio quality" mic mode.
