Amid tariffs and to avoid layoffs, Hamilton steel fabricator pivots from mostly U.S. to Canadian projects

Before the U.S.imposedtariffs earlier this year, about 70 per cent of Walters Group's steel fabrications were exported to the U.S. Now, that number is nearly zero, said one executive during Prime Minister Mark Carney's visit to the Hamilton facility.
