After an off day on Friday, the Eagles were back on the practice field Saturday morning for the first time since their preseason win over the Bengals.

Practice in shorts and shells lasted just over an hour and a half.

The Eagles will practice at the Linc on Sunday night. It's the only public practice of the summer.

Here are some observations from Day 11 of training camp:

1. As always, we start with some housekeeping:

The injury report:

Did not practice: A.J. Brown (hamstring), Elijah Cooks (shoulder), Kenyon Green (shoulder), Cameron Latu (knee), Byron Young (groin), Charley Hughlett (neck)

Limited: Zack Baun (back), Landon Dickerson (knee), Terrace Marshall (knee)

While A.J. Brown is still out of practice, the Eagles' keeping him out seems somewhat precautionary. He was getting a workout in before this session.

AJ Brown has missed time with a hamstring injury but the Eagles are being precautious.

Baun and Marshall returned to practice on Tuesday. Baun missed six days of practice and Marshall missed five. Baun did individual drills but wasn't back in team drills yet.

Cooks, Green and Latu were injured in the game. Dickerson's knee injury is new; he previously had a ribs injury in camp.

Edge rusher Jalyx Hunt went inside early and did not return. We'll find out more about his status on Sunday.

Several notable former Eagles were in attendance Saturday: Fletcher Cox, Brandon Brooks and Ndamukong Suh.

2. Depth chart updates:

Despite a rough performance against Ja'Marr Chase and the Bengals on Thursday night, Kelee Ringo began the day as the starting corner opposite Quinyon Mitchell. Eventually, Adoree' Jackson rotated in. It's 6-5 Jackson in these 11 days.

New cornerback Jakorian Bennett got some second- and third-team reps at right cornerback in his first practice with the Eagles. It'll be interesting to see if (or when) he gets some first-team reps.

Jeremiah Trotter Jr. and Jihaad Campbell began the day as the starting inside linebackers. With Baun back at practice, he'll presumably be back in team drills soon. Will it be Trotter or Campbell next to him?

Cooper DeJean continues to get safety reps in the base package and Sydney Brown continues to be the next guy up. Rookie Drew Mukuba got second-team reps at safety.

Without Jalyx Hunt in team drills, plenty of reps for Josh Uche. The veteran has had a strong training camp.

Tyler Steen has gotten every rep at right guard for all 11 practices. Landon Dickerson didn't partake in team drills (he's limited with a knee injury) so Brett Toth played left guard.

Without A.J. Brown, we saw Johnny Wilson and Darius Cooper get some first-team receiver reps.

Punt returners in order: Ainias Smith, Giles Jackson, Avery Williams, Taylor Morin, Jahan Dotson

3. This was a mostly uneventful practice but the play of the day came courtesy of second-team cornerback Eli Ricks in a backed up situation. With the offense operating from its own 1-yard line, Ricks jumped Tanner McKee's pass to Terrace Marshall and his momentum carried him into the end zone for a bang-bang pick-6.

Ricks celebrated by punting the ball high into the air. While there seemed to be a miscommunication on offense, it was a nice play for Ricks. Vic Fangio last week said Ricks could get into that cornerback battle but the Eagles have since traded for Jakorian Bennett.

Here's every play from the backed up period from the 1-yard line:

First teams: Jalen Hurts' pass for Saquon Barkley in the right flat soared high for an incompletion.

Second teams: The Ricks pick-6.

Third teams: Tariq Castro-Fields broke up a pass to Taylor Morin.

First teams: Hurts hit Barkley for a short pass of a few yards.

4. DeVonta Smith made an impressive play to come back for a Jalen Hurts ball through traffic. Just a little extra effort went a long way.

5. In the developmental drill to end practice, the situation was 1st-and-goal from the 10-yard line when Dorian Thompson-Robinson hit Taylor Morin in the back of the end zone for a touchdown. Morin was able to get both feet down, although the defense didn't like the call. Without refs on the field Saturday, assistant GM Jon Ferrari signaled touchdown. (And I was close enough to the play to agree with him.)

The offense then got a chance for a 2-point conversion and DTR hit Morin on a slant to get into the end zone again.

6. During 7-on-7s, Terrace Marshall caught a couple of passes in rhythm from Tanner McKee and looked healthy after missing significant time. Marshall will have to really work to make the roster but he had a solid first day back.

7. On the field next to 7-on-7s, the offensive and defensive linemen had 1-on-1 drills. A few highlights:

Ogbo Okoronkwo pulled off a devastating spin move to beat veteran Kendall Lamm. On the next rep, Okoroknwo beat Lamm outside with a speed rush. Okoronwko has had some flashy moments and is making a roster push.

Lane Johnson handled his two rushes. Tyler Steen battled against Jalen Carter in these 1-on-1s but Carter is just so difficult to stop.

Rookie Ty Robinson is so fun to watch in 1-on-1s. He beat Drew Kendall, Hollin Pierce and Laekin Vakalahi. It's nice to see him go against players other than Vakalahi but I'd still like to see him get a rep or two against at least second-team guards. Pierce who didn't stand a chance against his swim move and he hit Vakalahi with an impressive club.

Moro Ojomo continues to have impressive moments. He had two very good reps against Brett Toth.

Josh Uche beat Jordan Mailata on an inside speed move but Mailata shut down his bullrush on the next rep.

8. During that backed up period, Tariq Castro-Fields had a pass breakup against Taylor Morin. Castro-Fields also had a strong performance in the preseason game. There's not really a path to a roster spot for him here but maybe he's a practice squad guy.

9. Jalen Hurts hit Johnny Wilson in the middle of the field for a leaping grab. Hurts put the ball in a spot where only Wilson could get it and Wilson rewarded him with a catch. After a slow start to his summer, Wilson has been coming on strong.

10. Some odds and ends

Kelee Ringo had a pass breakup on DeVonta Smith but might have gotten there early. There were no refs today.

Kyle McCord had an errant throw that missed way wide during team drills. He has clearly been outplayed by Dorian Thompson-Robinson thus far.

Jalen Hurts had a pass batted back into his hands, so he took off running.

During 2-on-2s between the OL and DL, we saw Nolan Smith and Josh Uche get some reps lined up inside.

After a great game on Thursday, Darius Cooper nearly had a leaping grab against Adoree' Jackson on a pass from Tanner McKee, but couldn't haul it in. Cooper did make a nice low grab in 7-on-7s.

Stupid Observation of the Day: The press conference table in the Eagles' media tent had a little spruce up today.
