NSF and NVIDIA in $152M AI for Science Partnership

The National Science Foundation today announced a partnership with NVIDIA to develop a set of artificial intelligence-based models for scientific discovery. NSF will contribute $75 million, with NVIDIAproviding an additional $77 million, to support the Open Multimodal AI Infrastructure to Accelerate Science (OMAI) project, led by theAllen Institute for AI (Ai2).
