In an Oval Office meeting with South Korea's new president, Lee Jae Myung, Donald Trump says he would like to meet the North Korean leader this year. Trump said, 'I have a great relationship with Kim Jong-un ... I spend a lot of free time with him talking about things that we probably aren't supposed to talk about.' Lee, deploying a well-worn strategy by foreign visitors to the Trump White House, talked golf and lavished praise on the Republican president's interior decorating and peacemaking. Trump also suggested the US could seek to take over land in South Korea, saying, 'I would like to see if we could get rid of the lease and get ownership of the land where we have a massive military base.'
