Fantasy Football Rankings: Justin Boone's top wide receivers for 2025
Justin Boone won the FantasyPros Most Accurate Expert Award in 2019 and has eight top-10 finishes in the competition. He now brings his rankings acumen to the Yahoo Fantasy audience after recently joining the team as an analyst. He will consistently be refining his draft rankings during training camps, the preseason and leading up to the season.

Latest WR UpdatesRashee Rice being suspended six games and not having to wait until a disciplinary hearing in late September is a strangely positive development for his fantasy outlook. While it's not ideal to be without a star player for that long, it removes the uncertainty about the length and timing of his ban. Fantasy managers can now plan to be without him in the opening weeks when byes and injuries aren't as big of an issue. Last year, Nico Collins finished as the WR22 with over 1,000 yards and seven touchdowns despite missing five full games and the majority of two others. Bottom line, if you draft Rice, you'll have a potential top-12 fantasy receiver for the most important part of the season. In the meantime, get ready for Xavier Worthy to shine as a WR2 with WR1 upside until Rice returns.
Chris Godwin has been activated from the PUP list, but before you get excited, just know that the reports made it clear Godwin is nowhere near returning to action yet. He's coming back from a serious injury that has me wondering whether the 29-year-old will get back to form in 2025. The Buccaneers' decision to draft Emeka Egbuka in the first round makes more sense now and the highly-touted rookie is positioned to star right away. Egbuka is a borderline fantasy WR2, with Godwin being a complete stay-away outside of the late rounds.
