Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown is frustrated.

But, after a social media post on Sunday night following yet another unproductive outing, Brown knows he needs to rein it in. Brown posted a cryptic message on social media Sunday night following the Eagles' 31-25 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in which he quoted the Bible.

If you're not welcomed, not listened to, quietly withdraw," the quote read. Don't make a scene. Shrug your shoulders and be on your way."

The message seemed to send a message to the team. Brown, who had just two catches for 7 yards in the win, apparently doesn't feel welcomed" in the Philadelphia offense.

But on Wednesday, Brown cleared that up.

Obviously, Sunday after the game I let my frustrations boil over," he said. I didn't speak to the media. I had a chance to correct my frustrations, and I continue to let them boil over and that's on me. I take full accountability on that. My message on Twitter wasn't directed at anyone in the building, not my coaches, not my quarterback, my GM, nobody. I take full accountability."

Brown, a three-time Pro Bowler and the team's No. 1 wide receiver, has had a very slow start to the year. He had just a single catch in their season-opener, and has been held to less than 30 receiving yards in all but one outing so far this fall. In their 33-26 win over the Los Angeles Rams in Week 3, Brown had six catches for 109 yards and a touchdown, his only one of the season.

Brown's tweet seemed fairly on-brand for him. He was spotted reading a book on the sidelines during games last season, and did so during a playoff game in which he had just a single catch.

It's easy to have that frustration, I think it's fair to have that frustration," Brown said of not getting passes thrown his way. I just can't let that boil over."

The Eagles, despite not utilizing Brown much, are still undefeated on the season. They'll host the Denver Broncos on Sunday, where a win would give them their second 5-0 start in the past three seasons.

Brown said Wednesday that he has very open communication with both head coach Nick Sirianni and offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo, and that he feels he has a great relationship with quarterback Jalen Hurts. He's clearly still a top wide receiver in the league.

But Brown wants the ball, and he doesn't think that's wrong - so long as he doesn't let any frustrations that come with that spill over.

I think it's fair to want the ball to get us going ... I don't think it's a bad thing for wanting the ball," Brown said. It's not just for targets or anything, to put numbers up. I see that we're struggling, and I'm a guy that wants the ball in those times when we can't find a way. Give it to me. When the game's on the line, give the ball to me. I want that."
