In OKC's Game 2 win over Phoenix, Jalen Williams suffered a hamstring strain. His status for the remainder of the series and beyond is up in the air, and it is the third hamstring injury Williams has suffered this season. As for San Antonio, its brightest star, Victor Wembanyama, suffered a concussion in the Spurs' Game 2 loss to Portland. He is currently in concussion protocol, meaning he will almost surely miss Game 3 at a minimum. Who Wants to Win the East?: While two of the Western Conference first-round series sit at 2-0, and it might have been three if Wemby didn't get hurt, the same cannot be said for the East, where three series are tied at 1-1. In fact, both of the top two seeds - Detroit and Boston - suffered losses on their home floors already, and are now on the road for Games 3 and 4, against Orlando and Philadelphia, respectively. In addition, the fourth-seeded Knicks are heading back to Atlanta after a one-point loss in the Garden in Game 2.
