Driver lost control of bus in Saloa in Pernambuco state and cause of accident is under investigation
A passenger bus in north-eastern Brazil has crashed into a sand embankment and flipped on its side, killing 15 people, local authorities have said.
The bus was carrying about 30 passengers, police said on Saturday, but the number of injured, who were taken to nearby hospitals, was not immediately clear. The vehicle departed from the state of Bahia and crashed in Saloa, a city in the neighbouring state of Pernambuco.
