Fantasy Football Sleepers: Pair of Giants could make noise in Week 10

The sleeper page had an ordinary week last week, although Sam Darnold paid off and AJ Barner and Juwan Johnson both scored touchdowns. Let's see what we can find for Week 10.

WR Alec Pierce vs. Falcons (38%)

The Colts have an early start at Germany on Sunday, but Pierce is worth waking up for, collecting 282 receiving yards in the last three games. Pierce drew 13 targets in the Pittsburgh loss, and teammate Michael Pittman Jr. might be limited or unavailable. Pierce has been the NFL's best deep threat since the beginning of the 2024 season, leading everyone in yards per catch.

RB Emari Demercado at Seahawks (20%)

Trey Benson is eligible to return this week, and if that happens, Demercardo can't be started. But we have to take note that Demercado outplayed Bam Knight at Dallas, and the Arizona offense has been sharper with Jacoby Brissett under center.

RB Devin Singletary at Bears (21%)

Tyrone Tracy Jr. was a hot pickup after Cam Skattebo got hurt, but Tracy and Singletary shared the work against San Francisco in Week 9. Neither Tracy nor Singletary really has a floor in the present, as this looks like a hot-hand situation. But we need toconsider that Singletary was more effective in his opportunities last week. Chicago's defense presents a plus matchup.

TE Theo Johnson at Bears (40%)

Tight-end hunting usually comes down to goal-line equity, and Johnson checks that box - he's collected 10 red-zone targets (fifth at the position) and has five touchdowns in his past six games. Given the ordinary receivers in New York at the moment, it's no surprise that QB Jaxson Dart is looking Johnson's way in key spots.

WR Parker Washington at Texans (28%)

The Jakobi Meyers trade tempers some of the Washington buzz and Houston's defense is a lousy matchup, but we can't ignore that Washington posted a useful 8-90-0 log last week. The Jaguars have cluster injuries at wide receiver and it might take Meyers some time to get up to speed; Washington should hold a decent market share.

TE Luke Musgrave vs. Eagles (11%)

The Tucker Kraft injury was a monstrous hit for the Packers, but remember, they've always liked Musgrave, too - in fact, Musgrave was drafted before Kraft back in the spring of 2023. Musgrave acclimated himself after the Kraft injury last week (3-34-0), and although the Eagles present a daunting matchup, Musgrave figures to play in most packages.

QB Michael Penix Jr. at Colts (22%)

Penix has not been consistent this year, but he showed terrific red-zone chemistry with Drake London last week (three short touchdowns). And we like how concentrated the Falcons offense generally is - London and Bijan Robinson absorb a heavy share of the touches. The Colts defense is an average matchup, even with the addition of Sauce Gardner. If you're looking to replace Patrick Mahomes or Dak Prescott in Week 10, Penix deserves consideration.
