Start-sit decisions can be vexing for even the best of fantasy football managers, especially as we navigate the bye-week season. Here's our Week 10trafficreport to help you make some of those calls this week.
Green LightQB Jaxson Dart at Bears: Dart is the QB3 in fantasy since becoming New York's starter six weeks ago. The Bears played a pinball game last week at Cincinnati (lots of offense, little defense) and that likely repeats here.
WR Rome Odunze vs. Giants: A week after a shocking bagel at Cincinnati, Odunze will probably get right against a New York secondary that's poorly defended receivers all year. The Giants also might be missing Paulson Adebo, one of their starting cornerbacks.
WR Alec Pierce vs. Falcons: It's surprising that Pierce can average 20.9 yards per catch (best in the league) and not have a touchdown yet; he spiked seven times last year. But toss that in the fluke file and toss Pierce in your lineup; he has 282 receiving yards over the last three weeks.
TE Sam LaPorta at Commanders: He's scored in three of four games and the Washington seam coverage has fallen apart over the past month. Detroit can probably name the score here as heavy favorites on the road.
WR DeVonta Smith at Packers: The Eagles have shifted to more under-center snaps lately, and that's good for Smith, who especially thrives on play-action. Smith has 84 receiving yards or more in three of his last four starts.
Yellow LightWR Parker Washington at Texans: He's going to keep his slot assignments, coming off a solid 8-90-0 performance. And the Jaguars have cluster injuries at receiver. But we need to keep expectations in check against a formidable Houston defense.
RB Jordan Mason vs. Ravens: If Aaron Jones Sr. is scratched this week, Mason would get to attack a Baltimore front seven that's underperformed, largely due to injuries. Minnesota doesn't want to force J.J. McCarthy into heavy-pass volume just yet.
TE Colston Loveland vs. Giants: He's a green light special if Cole Kmet (concussion) isn't cleared in time for Sunday. Loveland can build off last week's breakout. If Kmet is able to play, Loveland downshifts from a proactive start to a situational one.
RB TreVeyon Henderson at Buccaneers: The Tampa Bay defense is staunch against the run but often struggles to mark RBs in the passing game. But before you start Henderson, check on Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) and also consider Terrell Jennings might handle the short-yardage work.
Red LightQB Jacoby Brissett at Seahawks: The best thing about Brissett playing for fantasy purposes is the way it upgrades Trey McBride and Marvin Harrison Jr. But Brissett will likely struggle against a Seattle team that ranks second in defensive DVOA and fourth in pass defense DVOA.
WR Christian Watson vs. Eagles: The Green Bay receiver room is usually tied to a platoon, and Watson has drawn just eight targets since returning. The Eagles are permitting a modest 81.7 passer rating, the stingiest secondary in the NFC.
RB Alvin Kamara at Panthers: He's cracked the top 25 at running back just once in the last seven weeks, in part because the New Orleans offensive line is riddled with injuries. The Saints didn't sustain much offense in Tyler Shough's first start.
