Packers hold off Giants 27-20
The Packers stopped their two-game losing streak, but barely.
Green Bay held off the Giants 27-20, all but sealing it on Evan Williams' interception of Jameis Winston in the end zone with 36 seconds left. The Packers improved to 6-3-1, while the Giants fell to 2-9.
The Giants faced third-and-6 from the Packers 14 when Winston tried to hit Jalin Hyatt in the end zone. Williams' pick essentially ended the game. The Giants did get the ball back with 10 seconds left, but Winston was sacked by Micah Parsons, who strip-sack was recovered by Rashan Gary.
Parsons had six tackles, 1.5 sacks, three quarterback hits and a forced fumble.
With Winston starting his first game of the season, the Giants outgained the Packers 336 to 296. Winston was 19-of-29 for 201 yards with an interception and a fumble.
Packers quarterback Jordan Love missed seven plays in the first half with a left shoulder injury, and Malik Willis finished what was a touchdown drive. Love finished 13-of-24 for 174 yards and two touchdowns. Willis was 2-of-2 for 6 yards, including a 1-yard touchdown throw to Christian Watson.
Watson also had a 17-yard touchdown catch from Love on a spectacular catch on a throw from Love for the winning points with 4:02 left. Watson caught four passes for 46 yards.
Savion Williams had the big catch to set up Watson's game-winner with a 32-yard reception to the Giants 20 on thrid-and-10.
Josh Jacobs left with an ankle injury in the first half, getting 40 yards on seven carries.
