MicroSD cards are now being swept up in Japan at alarming rates, thanks to the ongoing memory shortage wiping out most large-capacity hard drives from store shelves. Customers are buying models ranging from 512 GB - 2 TB to fulfil their storage needs, especially now that the microSD Express standard has lent a significant upgrade to compact flash.
