Aaron Rodgers was already dealing with fractures in his left wrist heading into Sunday's game. Then he took one of the harder hits of his long career and exited the game.

The Pittsburgh Steelers were leading 7-3 to start the third quarter when Rodgers started dancing around in the pocket to avoid the rush, and didn't sense that Buffalo Bills defensive end Joey Bosa was about to hit him from behind. Bosa nailed Rodgers, who fumbled. The Bills recovered and returned it for a touchdown, and Rodgers didn't get up right away.

Joey Bosa forced it. Christian Benford scooped and scored it. Bills lead.

Rodgers' face was bloody as he got up. Mason Rudolph, who started last week in place of Rodgers, came in the game. Rudolph threw an interception on his first series.

Rodgers has had an up-and-down season, his first with the Steelers and perhaps the last of his NFL career. After the hit from Bosa, he had more pain to deal with.
