Iceland will boycott Eurovision in protest of Israel's participation

Spain, the Netherlands, Ireland and Slovenia have also announced their plans to boycott the event, citing Israel's conduct in its war against Hamas in Gaza. This comes after the European Broadcasting Union, made up of a number of European public broadcasters, cleared Israel to participate last week.
