Jets place CB Azareye'h Thomas on IR; QB Adrian Martinez, CB Tre Brown elevated to active roster

The Jets placed cornerback Azareye'h Thomas on injured reserve Saturday, ending his rookie season.

He is among four roster moves that New York announced before Week 15 as Gang Green gets set for Sunday's 1 p.m. game at the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Jets activated linebacker Cam Jones from injured reserve while elevating quarterback Adrian Martinez and cornerback Tre Brown off the practice squad.

Jones last played Oct. 19 when he suffered his hip injury in New York's 13-6 loss to the Carolina Panthers. Jones, whom Gang Green placed on injured reserve Oct. 25, has four tackles through six games.

Martinez originally signed with the Jets in July and got waived during the team's final preseason roster cuts. He rejoined New York's practice squad this week with Brady Cook set to start.

Brown signed to the practice squad Nov. 11 and was activated for the Jets' 34-10 loss this past Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.
