RB Breece Hall, TE Mason Taylor, CB Qwan'tez Stiggers among Jets ruled out for Week 18 game vs. Bills
Ahead of their last game of the 2025 NFL season, Jetshead coach Aaron Glenn gave some updates Friday on who won't be suiting up for Gang Green.
TE Mason Taylor (neck), CB Qwan'tez Stiggers (knee), RB Isaiah Davis (concussion), DL Micheal Clemons (ankle), and TE Jelani Woods (hamstring) were all ruled out for New York's Week 18 matchup against the Buffalo Bills.
And on Saturday, the team announced that RB Breece Hall (knee) and cornerback Brandon Stephens (neck) were downgraded to out after having been listed as questionable on Friday.
Hall, who Glenn had hoped would be good enough to go in the season finale, sustained the injury during the fourth quarter of last week's defeat and had been limited at practice.
The 24-year-old back crossed the 1,000-yard mark for the first time in his career earlier in the game, becoming the first Jet RB to do so since Chris Ivory in 2015. He will finish the year at 1,065 rushing yards -- good for 16th all-time in Jets single-season history. Of course, Hall is set to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason, but NY could opt to place the franchise tag on him if a long-term deal isn't reached.
It'll be the fourth straight game Taylor has missed, last playing in Week 14 against the Miami Dolphins. Glenn said Taylor did not have a setback, but is following the doctor's orders when deciding whether the young tight end would play Sunday. Taylor finishes his rookie season in New York with a team-high 44 receptions for 369 yards (second behind Garrett Wilson's 395 yards) and one touchdown over 13 games.
Stiggers made 10 combined tackles last week against the New England Patriots, but left the game early and did not return. He recorded 24 total tackles (17 solo) with three passes defended across 15 games.
