The four words Andy Reid shared with John Harbaugh after taking Giants job
Super Bowl-winning coach John Harbaugh was introduced Tuesday as the newest head coach of the New York Giants.
Harbaugh had a brief break from coaching as the Giants signed him to a five-year contract to lead the team weeks after he parted ways with the Baltimore Ravens. Harbaugh brings nearly two decades of head coaching experience from his stint in Baltimore.
He got his start in the NFL with the Philadelphia Eagles under Andy Reid - who moved from the Eagles after a 14-year stint to the Kansas City Chiefs to great success. He said that Reid gave him some insight on a move to a new team.
"Andy is a man of few words and his four words to me were: 'change can be good,'" Harbaugh said with a smile. "He was excited. He's fired up for us, he's a good friend.
"How about we do this: we'll sign up for that deal right now, what he did in Kansas City. Let's do that."
