Giants not expected to retain OL coach Carmen Bricillo on John Harbaugh’s staff: report
John Harbaugh continues to shake things up around the Giants.
While the new head man is keeping some of Big Blue's old regime as part of his coaching staff next season, it appears that Carmen Bricillo will not be one of them.
The OL coach met with Harbaugh this week, and he is not expected to be retained, according to Paul Schwartz of the NY Post.
This news certainly comes as a bit of a shock to Giants fans.
Bricillo did tremendous work during his two years on Brian Daboll's staff, helping turn a usually lackluster offensive line into one of the more respectable groups in football.
He received confidence from some within the organization and Harbaugh's own father to keep him around.
Former Giants RT and current free agent Jermaine Eluemunor also offered for the 49-year-old coach earlier this week on social media, calling him one of the best in the NFL."
However, it appears someone else will be leading the o-line room next season.
