The Jets are hiring Brian Duker as their defensive coordinator, per multiple reports.
New York had completed a virtual interview with Duker on Tuesday.
Duker, 36, spent the last two seasons working for the Dolphins as their pass game coordinator/secondary coach.
Prior to joining the Dolphins, Duker worked for the Lions (under Aaron Glenn) as a defensive backs coach (2023), safeties coach (2022), and defensive assistant (2021).
Duker's NFL career began as an intern for the Browns in 2015.
With Duker now in tow, the Jets can focus on replacing offensive coordinator Tanner Engstrand, whom the team parted ways with on Tuesday.
