Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb added to Pro Bowl, Dallas now has 8 players

Earlier this week the Dallas Cowboys had one of their wide receivers added to the Pro Bowl as an alternate. KaVontae Turpin was added as a returner, but a receiver was added nonetheless.

There is another drop in that bucket. The Cowboys have another alternate headed to San Francisco.

CeeDee Lamb has been added to the Pro Bowl and as the mothership's Nick Eatman notes it is his fifth straight season reaching the NFL's All-Star game. The subject of the Pro Bowl and the legitimacy of being named an alternate has been under fire as of late, but obviously CeeDee Lamb is an incredible player.

Lamb is the Cowboys' third alternate and eighth player selected to the Pro Bowl overall.

Offensively the Cowboys have six total players in the festivities now and Smith is the only one who does not play a skill position. It speaks to the haphazardness that exists around the Pro Bowl these days that this can happen.
