The latest and greatest QD-OLED panels from Samsung are now "Penta Tandem," signaling the move to a five-layer OLED stack from the previous 4-layer one. Three panel classes - 4K 27" (2025), 31.5" 4K (2026), and 34" ultrawide (2026) - are already using this tech, while the 49" is next in line for the upgrade.
